古民家再生協会連携プロジェクトKominka Restoration Association Partnership

日本全国には900万戸を超える空き家があるといわれ、その中には地域の歴史や暮らしの記憶を伝える数多くの古民家が含まれます。しかし人口減少・高齢化・相続問題を背景に、多くが活用されないまま失われつつあります。私たちは古民家を単なる空き家ではなく、その土地の風土や文化を映す「地域資産」であり、地方創生の重要なプラットフォームと捉えています。Japan is said to have over nine million vacant homes, among them countless kominka that carry the memory of a place's history and daily life. Amid depopulation, aging, and inheritance issues, many are being lost unused. We see kominka not as empty houses but as regional assets reflecting local climate and culture — important platforms for revitalization.

古民家再生協会は、古民家の保存・再生・利活用を通じて地域活性化と空き家問題の解決に取り組む全国的なネットワークです。宿泊施設、オーベルジュ、地域レストラン、工房、サテライトオフィス、教育・交流拠点など多様な活用を進め、建物単体ではなく「面」としての地域再生を重視。地域産業・観光・商店街・農林水産業・文化活動を有機的に結び付けます。The Kominka Restoration Association is a nationwide network preserving, restoring, and repurposing kominka to revitalize regions and tackle vacancy. We advance diverse uses — lodging, auberges, local restaurants, ateliers, satellite offices, education and exchange hubs — emphasizing area-wide renewal that organically links local industry, tourism, shopping streets, agriculture, and cultural activity.
